Good article. I disagree though, with "If things were bad in 1946, they’re worse now". Not a good comparison. 1946, WWII war over. The world started reconstruction. The Marshall plan. The UN etc etc.

We need to be able to explain why there are so many in positions of power today. They have always been around but the system seemed to be able to keep them under control. After a massive burnout I lost the means to really get anywhere with this. Financially and part trauma related.
But as so many people are about to end in such a position I may have the advantage of doing the research. Yet, I still don't see a real alternate option. I have heaps of ideas, but money is a showstopper, law is one, and ignorant people that should not matter can do more damage then most people can imagine just by playing for the enemy without having a clue.
As a result of that im not having a local network to speak of. Cant trust people who are not serious informed.
Online I find many people who have comparable crap on their plate, but they all live far away.
So it feels like sitting on an island. But still under the rules of the system.
A surreal dystopian hi-tech island whitout an income, but with a lot of taxes. And big corporations shift billions around on this island without paying any tax.
But I cant migrate. While migrants take over the island.
I survive just fine, but its not a life to write home about...
