Of course the anti-depressants are working! That's exactly why about 11% of Aussies are on them, and suicide rates are decreasing...didn't you know that?... It's called the ham, cheese, tomato combo - SSRIs, Benzo, and Ritalin, you need all three to function. You have to have an upper with the downers, of course, and we are all getting our A vitamins through Adderall, Ativan, and Anti-Depressants. All are non-additive and can be prescribed, in perpetuum, until the patient ends their life or finally figures out the they are being played, and then when some savant finally asks, 'how are you?', 'tell me about your life', and actually listens, they suddenly realise they might not have a brain disease after all. The problem you alluded to, is that yes, all these drugs have incredible withdrawal effects, but nobody is willing to encounter pain anymore so they go a few days, and then think their, 'disease', is coming back; if they gave it a longer period and went through actual struggle, the end would be much brighter.
