Correction

I included a figure for “US psychotropic drug expenditure” as “$640billion.” That is incorrect. A reliable source gives the figures as:

“The total mental health expenditures for the U.S. in 2022 was $280 billion (and for ALL prescription drug expenditure in all healthcare was $406 billion).”

According to Statista, expenditure in 2020 was $62billion. Se…
